R E D E M P T I O N (An original poem)
And so we begin at the middle of it all. We're lost in the maze of our own self, We're lost trying to fit in; conforming We're lost...just simply lost.
Bruised, battered, and broken Almost giving up on dreams already unspoken Dreams near to being forgotten, And a soul banished into the limbo of the sullen.
All of me fading away like distant memories not my own. Trapped continually in a spiral of wrong thinking. Burdened with everything other than my own, Is there still hope? Is there any at all?
And so in the middle of all it, we begin again. Forgetting not why we started or why we began. Too many reasons to keep pushing; Too many reasons to keep living.
It's time to break away from our wrong thinking, You're worth more than what you think today. Let go even, if gravity pushes you down again— For another tomorrow is soon coming.
Look towards the horizon, A hope is always looming there to be found. So be free, move on, and live. A new day is coming soon enough, there always is.
